Exchange PhD Student

Ghent University - imec (IDLab)

Aug 2025 – Oct 2025 Ghent, Belgium
Research secondment at IDLab (imec), Ghent University, investigating model compression techniques for TinyML, with the aim of minimizing the memory and computational footprint of on-device neural networks while preserving predictive performance within negligible degradation margins.

Exchange PhD Student

Yonsei University - DCL Lab

Mar 2024 – Jun 2024 Seoul, South Korea
Research secondment focused on integrating blockchain with federated learning for reliable, decentralized model training over data streams. This work led to the paper “Federated Learning Meets Blockchain: A Kafka-ML Integration for reliable model training using data streams,” presented at the IEEE International Conference on Big Data 2024 in Washington, D.C., USA.
